Moving with the ‘BCC’ Times

Moving with the ‘BCC’ Times

Jackie Pratt9 Jan - 12:15

This year we are proud to announce a more streamlined way of paying for your BCC annual membership.

This year we are proud to announce a more streamlined way of paying for your BCC annual membership and simplified the categories, whilst introducing a new category for families on Universal Credit.

The website that you are viewing this page on is new for 2025 and gives members the option to pay for their 2025 BCC membership online. Just visit the ‘Shop’ Tab, select your membership option and pay! Every member needs to fill in a membership form that will be securely stored. If a membership also includes other family members then a form needs to be completed for each person. This is a requirement of being a membership club.

While we encourage all members to fill in the forms and pay for membership online we will still accept paper copies being completed at the club and membership payments taken by card or cash. We will monitor preferred ways of paying and decide on updates year on year. As a preview the new categories are as follows…

  • Senior playing (includes family) - £60
  • Women (includes family) - £40
  • Over 40’s playing (includes family) - £40
  • Friday night membership - £30
  • Universal Credit (Friday night membership) - £20
  • Social membership - £20
  • OAP / Student / Unemployed - £10

In cases where there are multiple players, the membership category starts at highest paying player.

  1. Example 1) Dad plays senior cricket, son and daughter play junior cricket, Mum plays women’s cricket. Membership category = Senior playing (includes family) - £60
  2. Example 2) Mum plays women’s cricket, no other family members. Membership category = Women (includes family) - £40
  3. Example 3) Three children play junior cricket including Friday nights. Friday night membership - £30. Please note that there is an additional £10 charge per child for training fees to cover 10 weeks of cricket on Friday nights to be paid at ‘signing-on’ night, normally at the end of April / beginning of June.
